Stellenbosch Football Club striker Roy-Keane Avontuur has joined NB La Masia Football Club on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The 20-year-old will ply his trade in the National First Division where he will look to gain valuable first-team experience during his spell in Johannesburg.

Avontuur became the Club’s youngest-ever player when he made his senior debut at the age of 17 years, 2 months & 4 days in October 2020, and has featured in five DStv Premiership matches to date.

He was also a key member of our 2021/22 DStv Diski Challenge-winning side, before helping the team win the Premier League Next Gen title in the United Kingdom later that year.
